Hi, I’m Neisha S. Pettaway, BSW, MA, LCMHC — Founder & Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at N.S.D Transformative Therapeutic Services. I’m passionate about helping clients of all ages identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and achieve meaningful personal growth through teletherapy.

I spent 9 years as a school counselor supporting middle and high school students and 2 years as a school-based mental health therapist. Currently, I work as a psychotherapist in a short-term mental health facility and provide private teletherapy for clients ages 8–60. My approach combines individual, group, and crisis support, always tailored to each client’s unique needs.
I believe that people are resilient and already possess the tools they need to grow. Together, we’ll explore your past experiences, confront negative thought patterns, and create actionable steps toward your goals. My aim is to help you become the person you already are — confident, capable, and empowered.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you do not have to hide what you are carrying. My goal is to help clients feel emotionally safe enough to be honest, reflective, and empowered while also learning practical tools to navigate everyday life. I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and create healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
